Multi-media filterIt is achieved by using a filter bed to remove suspended solids in water, such as agglomerates and adhesive substances that cannot be removed by precipitation methods. It is mainly used for pretreatment of softening, desalination, and pure water systems, and can also be used for coarse filtration of industrial water supply with low requirements. According to the use of filter media, mechanical filters can be divided into single-layer filter media, double-layer filter media, and multi-layer filter media.
The double-layer filter is suitable for filtering sediment water with a turbidity of no more than 60mg/L, while the single-layer filter is only used for filtering sediment water with a turbidity of no more than 15mg/L. The turbidity of the effluent from mechanical filters is generally controlled below 3mg/L.
